About my new experience in theater

I didn't know that the acting was like that so funny and difficult too, but it was my luck to work with a wonderful group like this one. They are helping each other and help me as well just to do the play good as possible and I like this spirit in work because it's full of energy which help any artist to be more creative.

And by the way I've got the chance to know and learn how to build any character in life and now days I'm trying to study my characters very well because it's not easy to play two different characters, each one of them has a different cultural, style in life and they even look different in how they looks.

I'm very glad to have such this experience in theater which helps me to know more about new kind of art and that what I like it the most.

New Theater Experience

One of my new experience will going to be in the theater, I have an offer to start a play in May 2007 with a talented director called Adel Abd El Wahab. The play called "Mountain Language" by Harold Pinter. I hope that I'll play good in this first experience in acting...Wish me luck on this.

My Opinion In Station Project

It was a good experience to me when I've joined to this project called "STATION" to get to know many kinds of music like Egyptian oriental music and many others.

The first step was mixture between Rock music and our Egyptian Oriental music; I think it was a very successful step to the project and to me. The concert was in 23rd of February in the Jesuit Cultural Center – Alexandria.

New Project

In these days I started a project with one of the most talented musicians called Ayman Asfour, in the beginning this project called "STATION" and the idea was about building a new band had ability to play a mixture between our oriental Egyptian music and any other kind of music.

And why we have choose this name of the band "STATION" cause it was the all the idea, this
mixture will moves through many kinds of music and experiences..So, every step the band made it called a "STATION".

About Me

Hey everyone let me introduce myself to all of you. I'm a regular man like anybody in the world called Mahmoud El-Saghir. I can't describe myself but I'll try to feed you back about what I'm doing or what I like to do in my life. So, Now I will talk in a few words about how I started my music career...



In 2003 it was my first play as a back vocal singer (choir) in "Three pennies opera", conducted by "Peter Muller" (Germany), Directorate by "Mohsen Helmy" And it was cooperation between Goethe Institute – Alexandria and Bibliotheca Alexandria.

In 2003 I had joined to "The Bibliotheca Amateur Choir" conducted by "Nayer Nagy" and play a few concerts with "Bibliotheca Alexandria Chamber Orchestra" in the Christmas concert.

In 2003-2004, play with "The Bibliotheca Amateur Choir", "Bibliotheca Alexandria Chamber Orchestra" and "Children Choir", conducted by "Sherif Mohie El Din" in the New Year concert.

In 2004 I had joined as a back vocal singer (choir) in "Three operas in one hour", conducted by "Sherif Mohie El Din", Directorate by "Mohamed Abuk Kheir" at Bibliotheca Alexandria.

In 2005 I started to build my own rock band "Sadeem" and I had performed my first and second concerts at "Kasr El Tazawok Theatre", I was the lead vocal, rhythm guitar and the band manger as well.

In 2005 I had joined once again as a back vocal singer (choir) in "Three pennies opera", conducted by "Peter Muller", Directorate by "Mohamed Abul Kheir" and the play was in Cairo at "The Gomhouria Theatre". It was a cooperation between Goethe Institute (Cairo – Alexandria), Bibliotheca Alexandria and Cairo opera.

In 2005 I had joined "Station" band as a lead vocal and the first performers was at "The French cultural center" in "The Music Festival".

In 2006 I had joined "The 5th International Summer Festival" at Bibliotheca Alexandria with my own band "Sadeem".

In 2006 I had joined "The Bibliotheca First Occidental Music and Songs Competition" at Bibliotheca Alexandria with my own band "Sadeem" and I was nominate to the best male vocal in the competition.

In 2006 I had joined the graduation festival "Small Dreams…Big Dreams" with "Sadeem" band at The Jesuit cultural Center – Alexandria.

In 2007 I had joined the musical festival "Alexandria in my mind" with "Station" band at The Jesuit Cultural Center – Alexandria.
